Kelden was invited to go to prom in Kap. We decided to take a long week-end for Canada Day and go camping at the same time.
Kelden met Helena at a chess tournament (where she finished 2nd.) She also speaks 4 languages and likes curling, hence Kelden's promposal.
It's a good thing our camping trip wasn't just for camping as the weather wasn't really nice. It's okay, we had enought to eat do inside!
We went to Kap a few times (our camping site actually being in Moonbeam) and visited the train-museum.
This sculpture represents the town's history: wood being transformed by generations to become paper.
Last time we camped at René Brunelle, we did a somewhat big bike ride. This time, we played chess instead.
We still biked around a bit, had campfires, took pictures, etc.
The only brave soul to go swimming was Kelden. He really wanted to wash his hair.
And we were back on Canada Day.
