We went to the sportsmanshow last week-end.
The jet simulator was definitely the favorite activity!
Keld can do it his eyes closed..

Parents Partenaires en Education and our kids'schoolboard joined forces to offer a special program to invite families to work on community service projects.
All the families who participated chose one or a few different projects, such as making hygiene kits for the women' shelter, donating gift-cards to the homeless, collecting money for the Humane Society, etc. Our family didn't work on one big action but served in many different ways. I don't think our kids realize that helping one person helps the whole community. This project was from November to March and we grouped our actions under one theme. Julia made the poster so we could say the whole family participated.
Some of what we did was: play the piano at church, snow blowing, giving our clothes, taking care of Maple (Rocky's sister) and giving money for car repairs.
We attended three workshops about community service, eating good food and talking about our projects. Ryan created a medal and we played games. At the end, we even received certificates !
Later, at the Parents Partenaires en Education's congress, which was yesterday, Keld and I were asked to talk about our experience.
The MC was a famous singer!
Once again, Easter looked like Christmas. Kelden took care of the egg hunt this year.
He was proud of his colored eggs too.
