We came back from our mini-trip to the Temple on Mother's Day. We had dinner with Aunt Linda and Aunt Chrystal but I had forgotten my camera! So you're only getting pictures of me and the kids.
Let's start with Kelden, who thinks I'm 50 years old (according to my doctor, my body also thinks I'm closer to 50 than 40, so he's not completely wrong). Kelden also says that I like to bake (I say he likes my baking), that my job is to teach people and that my favorite things are hugs (from him). He loves it when I say: "Are you hungry?" (I think he really had the baking in mind...).
He made me a necklace at school, with my favorite color, purple, and his favorite colors, blue and green.
He also made this at school:
And in Primary, along with saying those nice things about me being 50, he and Julia painted flowers:
Julia was told that I wasn't 40 yet, so she got my age all right. What I found interesting was that both of them thought my favorite thing was something about them. Kelden mentioned his hugs while Julia said that my favorite thing is to play with her and that what I like to do is to go out with her. Their completion of the sentence: "My mom says" showed who's the messy one in the house. Kelden said: "she loves me" while Julia wrote: "stop and go clean your room."
She too made a necklace at school, with her and my favorite colors. She also made a matching bracelet.
I missed their song in Sacrament meeting, but here is today's version:
Thank you Kelden and Julia. And thank you Zack, for being there too!
