FUN in July!

Every morning Kelden and Julia practice their piano.

Every Friday now Mommy cuts the lawn. It takes a long time because it's long.

               

The kids like a long lawn. 

And if Mommy cuts it, then Daddy has more time for his projects. 

Every day we can, we go to the pool. Now that Zack goes in too, we call him King of the Water.

Although, as you can see in the videos, he's not quite the King yet. 

Every day, we have fun !

And more fun is coming !

Vive la France !!

We celebrated France this week !

I'll use this post and put pictures of this Saturday at the cottage.

Zack finally decided to jump in the water !

He had once said that he would go in the pool when Grandpa Bruce would go. You should have seen his face when he saw Grandpa Bruce ready to go swim last Thursday! He hesitated but did go and now he wants to go all the time !

The other day the pool wasn't as empty as before, and Keld showed him that he could touch.

 I'm not sure this will help him learn to swim !

Summer Vacation !!

We have started our second month of vacation (because honestly, Julia and Kelden didn't really go to school in June). We have been missing my parents but are still having fun, of course. We try to go outside as much as we can.

We also go to the pool lots, even when it's cold (according to some people).
Since Zack doesn't like to go in, he takes the pictures.

We also went to the cottage again this week-end. Keld helped me weed but I didn't help him with his work...

I just went around and took pictures.

Kelden really wanted to go on the banana tube. Unfortunately the big boat wasn't working properly, so his ride was cut short. He complained saying he hadn't fallen yet ! So Uncle Jeff was nice and took him again behind the other boat. Despite all his efforts, they didn't fall, so they ended up jumping in!

As you might have felt from the video, I thought I was going to fall !!
