Star Wars

Since the boys are into Star Wars right now, they really enjoyed everything around Star Tours.

They also got to go the Jedy Training Academy.
First, they got their student cards.

Then the Academy costume.

They were brought outside to meet with their master...

...who lent them a light sabre. Zack couldn't activate his, so the master helped him and taught him to use the force...of gravity.

My kid made everybody laugh...Anyway, the master then went on to teach them some tricks...

...when, suddenly, someone else came to try and recruit the jedlings.

Each little jedy got to fight (either Darth Vader or Darth Maul) with help from their master.

Zack looked like he was fighting his master more than Darth Vader (he was keeping his distance...).

The dark side was defeated, of course, and every jeldling received a diploma.

Maybe Keld will post the videos he took. It definitely was the boys' favorite thing to do at Disney this time.

Water Parks and Epcot

We went to Epcot a couple of times, after going to the water parks.

Princesses

If the line-up wasn't too long, Julia would ask us to go and see the princesses. We, of course, started with Anna and Elsa.

But we also saw Belle, Aurora..and the little mermaid..

Other female characters, who are not exactly princesses, that we saw were Alice (who sat right next to Julia during the parade) and Tinker Bell (who wouldn't share her pixie dust, I tried!).

She told me to go ask Mickey Mouse, but he was way too busy.

Have a Magical Stay

A few hours after arriving in Florida, we put our Mickey ears on...

...and went to the Magic Kingdom.

We went straight to the mine ride, a new ride for all of us, and the first roller coaster for Zack.

Zack is now indeed tall enough to do more rides and I think he liked it.

There are still a couple of them he can't do though, but it's a beginning. He feels part of the big kids now.

He's actually braver than me, there are some rides I won't do that he went on with the others.

However, like my sister found out, Disney isn't the place to find lots of very thrilling roller coasters, it is, after all, more for kids. But we also enjoy rides that don't make me feel dizzy!

Although I don't know how I was feeling when we took that picture, I have a certain pose...oh well...

On Our Way To Disney

We are back from our 2015 Disney adventure with my sister Carole. It was more fun to get there than to come back. We had no problem saying good bye.

We all like airport food and beverages...

We don't really like flying, but the pilot was very trustworthy.

We prefer the bus, last link to the fun.

My sister had already made it to the hotel when we arrive around 1am.

The kids took turns changing rooms.

But definitely didn't get enough sleep..

As I said, the way back was not as fun!
