Happy Halloween !!

I'm not sure why but our kids seem to always want to wear more than one costume for Halloween.

Ryan didn't last long in his Halloween outfit but he still went trick or treating at Keld's work and at Granny's.

Welcome to the World !

Well, we avoided the due date (James' birthday) and were a little bit early.
Ryan Gérard Scott was born on Thursday, October 19th 2017 (Dave won) at 9.32 pm. 10 hours of labor, but with the epidural it wasn't that bad (although Mom's purple fingers might disagree).
8 lbs 10, 19 1/2 in.

Happy Thanksgiving !

We had a great week-end for Thanksgiving. Keld and I celebrated our 16th anniversary on Friday (I had a Primary meeting on Thursday). 

Saturday was a rainy day so we went to the pool and baked.

Keld's chocolate bread was ready for Sunday's breakfast. For Monday's supper, he took care of the potatoes. And we thank everyone else for the rest !!

And the party continues with leftovers and cookies from my visiting teacher...

With Grand-Père and Grand-Mère

When my parents come, it's Christmas! This time, the kids had to wait a couple of days since their luggage didn't follow but it was worth it :) 

We had lots of plans for Grand-Père et Grand-Mère. We went walking, swimming, bowling and played lots of games with Grand-Mère, board games inside and other games outside. 

Julia also taught her grandmother how to make hats and neck warmers in exchange for cooking lessons.

We were lucky as the weather was really great for September.

 

We had to say goodbye! They are back home now, getting ready for some new adventures at the Temple!!!!
