Happy Birthday Rocky !
Monday was Family Day and since Thursday and Friday were snow days, we had quite a long week-end, which is good because there are no vacation until April. However, sad and cold, we didn't do much but eat.
We had our now traditional clue hunt by Kelden and for the family picture...well, we tried.
Our niece/cousin, Tania, passed away in her sleep on Valentine's Day. She was 8 years old. At age two she had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. We had been praying for her every day since and thank those who did too. Her mission here was short but we are grateful to have been able to know her and learn from her. Our time on earth is precious, let's use it wisely.
Until we meet again !
Yesterday and today was too cold for the school buses. Last Saturday wasn't so cold but still, our adventure was pretty short.
These next pictures are for a school project for Julia. She wants to be able to find them on the internet so she asked me to post them on the blog.
This month the Primary leaders dropped off activities about Valentine's Day!
As we looked at the Primary song for this month, we decided that there were quite a few words we didn't know how to draw (such as priesthood, truth...) so we thought we would think of some actions instead. But it wasn't that easy. Sister Carr-Lawton might be proud because we actually remembered a word in sign language (earth)! Now, she might not be so proud that our song actions ended up being a mix between ASL (American Sign Language) and SLL (Scott Sign Language)..
Ryan seems to like the actions, we'll see if he'll remember more words than he did for last month's song:
We still have time to practice...
