Timmins Stake Youth Activity

 For once we didn't have to travel! Keld took a few pictures of the activities they had on Saturday (I had asked Julia, but...)

Sister Tinney invited us for supper (so I took pictures!)

The youth stayed at the church after dinner to play more sports or watch a movie or just hang out.

Then everybody piled up in the cars. We had a sister and 8 girls downstairs (including Julia) and two Japanese students upstairs. 

Japanese snacks are way too spicy for me...

Even separated, boys and girls were still having fun together. The girls would recreate the pictures the boys would send them (they couldn't replicate the ones with the pizzas as we didn't buy them any...)

It was good to have more people at church on Sunday. We had a linger longer for our ward conference (so the youth could stay even longer together...)

They wanted to leave together...

We should see each other again in a couple of weeks for another Temple + Dance trip !

Easter

 I was at school for Good Thursday and Good Friday. It was great to talk about Jesus to the kids. With Zack's class, we followed the path to Golgotha. Julia made "palms" in her class. Ryan was pretty excited and kept saying "He is alive! He is alive!" He was also telling a story about a rabbit that brings chocolate... I told him that it's Grand-Père and Grand-Mère who bring us chocolate! (He wasn't convinced.)

On Friday, a neighbor brought us some bunny cakes and the kids went to Special and Grandpa Bruce's to do some crafts.

On Saturday, we went egg hunting at the library and ate beaver tails. We also had the Easter supper at Special and Grandpa's after a big egg hunt!

On Sunday, we had another egg hunt!

Julia got to wear a new dress from Auntie Becca, matching her aunt and her cousin. Thank you!

On Monday, I tried to make our traditional Easter nest but, of course, it went wrong (the cake wanted to stay in the pan..) Oh well, the only chick we were able to find still looked comfortable!

Dance and Temple

 Kelden and Julia went to their first church dance this month.  Since it was in Brampton, we also got to go to the Temple!

We're ready to go back next month!
