First Cross-country Competition
The first cross-country competition of the season was at Hersey Lake. Zack, Kelden and Julia participated. Zack was 21st out of over 50 runners.
After his race, I had to leave to do my lunch duty at the school but Keld came back to watch the older kids. Kelden came 7th out of 14 and, being the 4th of his school, he was part of the winning team!
As this competition is organized by Julia and Kelden's high school, they were volunteers. Julia guarded one of the holes close to the finish line so no one would trip and fall. She then competed but unfortunately, her ankle injury (which had occured the day before) made sure she finished last. But she finished! Crying and limping, but hey, she finished ;) We went and bought her something for her ankle later.
Hopefully she will feel better soon !

Senior Sunrise
Julia hasn't been participating to all the activities for 12 graders but she did go to the senior sunrise.
Still managed to be late for seminary...
