Timmins High Invite

 Another track meet for Kelden on Wednesday.

He started with the 200m. He came 1st of his heat, catching up to everyone!

He also ran a 400m. He was 2nd or 3rd, it's hard to tell.

According to his dad, his best race was the 400m. He, again, came first of his heat.

Like last week, they were missing one person for the 4X100m relay so Kelden was recruited. He said he would do it only if he got to go first..

May Long Week-End

 It's tradition now, we go camping at Ivanhoe on the May long week-end!

 

There were less bugs than at our first time. We were able to go biking, kayaking, walking (although not on the trails!), etc. We would go play cards inside if it was really bad.

It was actually quite hot! And so windy on Sunday that we took out the tent.

 On Wednesday, Kelden competed at his school. 

He first ran the 300m hurdles.

Then, the 200 m.

He also participated in a relay but the race he actually won was the 100m hurdles.  

Julia and her friend Chloé were volunteers. They would time the racers.

Well, when they weren't falling on their muffins...
