Pumpkins

  We carved our pumpkins a bit early again so Keld and Zack could help.

I managed to do most of Ryan's. 

So, for those who haven't guessed, our pumpkins represent the spider from Spiderman, the Jedi symbol and a funny face.

 Ryan turned 7 last week-end. 

Special brought him a huge Spiderman balloon and Julia sent her friends to see him!

It was hard to take pictures as he was moving so much...

Thanksgiving

Thanks everyone who participated in our Thanksgiving dinner. For the second time in a row, Keld cooked the turkey. He was on time this year! 

Ryan stayed in pyjamas all day. Zack and Keld also got haircuts. 

Julia said she celebrated too with her roomates but they were so busy eating they didn't take any pictures...

Conference Week-End

Last week-end was general conference and our anniversary. Unfortunately, we were too sick to really celebrate. I had made mousse and Keld bought me some pains au chocolat but I think that's all he ate that day...

We wached conference online but Julia was actually there! Thank you Aunt Allie for going to get her so she could spend some time with you and other members of the family! She also met with a friend from our stake who is serving at Temple Square and bumped into Uncle Hunter as well!

Julia's First Weeks

Julia has been in Idaho for over two weeks now.

This was the picture I got for back to school. She's doing better. She's getting to know her roomates. 

They are assigned a group of boy roomates for Family Home Evening. 

Julia is quickly making friends. 

She is learning to do everything by herself; laundry, groceries, meals, going to the orthodontist...

She calls when she needs help but she really wants to talk to Ryan. 

This week she signed up for cross-country with one of her roomates. Unfortunately, the roomate got sick and couldn't go to the first practice. To please us, Julia went on her own, at 6 o'clock and 2 degrees...

The roomate fortunately felt better for their first relay course.
