Christmas 2016

I stayed in bed for my 40th Christmas Eve. Probably what I did on my first one :) So the pictures are from Keld:

I was up for Christmas Day, but not as early as Kelden!

Keld made this great chair/stuffed animal holder (I helped a bit). I think it's great. If material was cheaper I'd have him make another one:)

Keld and I usually don't buy each other gifts for Christmas, we get what we want whenever we want. But this year I wanted a surprise to open on Christmas Day so I asked Keld to get me something. I thought he would go and take the kids to find something like pyjamas or chocolates, but he went on his own to pick me this ring.

Thank you! (Even dressed I still look sick).

It's pretty nice to go to church on Christmas Day! After church we went to Special and Grandpa Bruce's for a traditional meal with family.

We had a great time. And the fun continues!!!

Concert and Snow

Yesterday was the Christmas school concert.

Kelden's video is too big.
There was also enough snow yesterday for Keld to justify using the tractor.

Busy Second December Week-End

This past week-end we had our ward Christmas party. Sr Sutherland worked really hard to make it happen and we had lots of fun. We participated in a service project and then the kids played in the nativity.

After the ward party, Kelden and Julia went to perform in a concert. I filmed during one of the rehearsals.

Busy First December Week-End

We were pretty busy this past first week-end of December. On Friday, Keld and I went to eat with his colleagues while the kids were having a sleepover at Special and Grandpa Bruce's.

On Saturday, we brought the kids to Keld's work party. They told Santa what they wanted (you'll never guess what Julia asked for) and then we went skating.

The second week-end might be busy too...

Happy Birthday Aunt Alli !!

Keld came up with the idea for our culinary tradition this year. I did help..a bit. It goes very well with candles for Aunt Alli's birthday!

Happy Birthday Caitlin !!

Today Caitlin is turning 8 !!!! This is a special age and we hope she is excited !
I think she has already seen the video I am posting, but honestly, I couldn't sing better :)

I know you probably would have liked to be with them, but I'm sure you're having fun where you are too!!
