Playdates
In France, six weeks of school are followed by two weeks of holidays. We don't get that much holidays here, but between pd days and snow days, the kids can't complain. And they don't. They don't mind the cold either, they just pretend we're in Florida...
Ted came to visit us on one of the snow days. I think he really likes Julia. They had come to his house the week before to do some work.
Kelden is learning another type of work: baking all on his own.
Since I haven't been feeling great, they have to learn to do more on their own. I spoil them too much!

Happy Birthday on Family Day !!
For Family Day, we went on our traditional ride at Cedar Meadows.
I don't know if you can see the moose on that last picture. He was sleeping in that day and not hungry for breakfast yet!
Keld wasn't feeling good enough to bring the kids skiing. He did bring them sliding, although he didn't go down with them as he usually does.
Afterwards, we went to celebrate Grandpa's birthday.
We hope you had a great day, Grandpa! We sure did!!

Routine 2017
This year, we have started a new routine because Julia was always complaining that she has both homework and piano to do after school. So, now the plan is to get up earlier and do the whole piano practice before anything else.
She knows her scales so well she can practice her eyes closed. I had hoped that getting up earlier would help her fall asleep faster. Wishful thinking.
Kelden, who was already practicing piano in the morning, now reads his scriptures while waiting for his turn.
Keld is busy too in the early mornings.
We try to sleep in on Saturdays and go skiing.
A couple of Valentine's Day pictures to finish.
Thank you Special for the cookies! The kids gave and received lots of cards and candy today at school. I was surprised that some of the kids also thought of their lunch monitor!

Happy Birthday Jordie!
Today is Jordie's birthday! So we are celebrating it. 😊😁The missionaries were at our house so one filmed and the other one sang with us happy birthday.We didn't have cake 🎂 we had a big cookie🍪 instead.
