Mexican Party

Last Saturday, we had a ward Mexican party.

Happy Easter

We had a fun-filled Easter long week-end.
Weatherwise, we had one nice day, Good Friday. Keld took the kids to the cottage and then for a bike  ride.

Kelden finally got to use his skateboard. I guess it was tiring.

He woke up on time for the Easter feast.

On Saturday, the kids got to color some eggs with Special.

Sunday was the egg hunt.

Julia got a lock for her new bike, Zack a soccer ball and Kelden a firebolt.

Zack is now 6.

Since Zack was sick on his birthday, I went to the school yesterday. I was so busy though that I forgot the camera. Here's what he got from his teacher.

Music Festival

This year it's Zack who opened the festival for our family.

Then Kelden played the piano.

He was very disappointed not to be in the first three. We were too, we thought he did great!
He did win in his choir competitions, both in French and in English.

It was tough, he was competing against Linda!

Julia also sang in two choirs, but the French song is too long for the blog.

Bruce turned 6 this week. It was party time !!

Playdates

In France, six weeks of school are followed by two weeks of holidays. We don't get that much holidays here, but between pd days and snow days, the kids can't complain. And they don't. They don't mind the cold either, they just pretend we're in Florida...

Ted came to visit us on one of the snow days. I think he really likes Julia. They had come to his house the week before to do some work.

Kelden is learning another type of work: baking all on his own.

Since I haven't been feeling great, they have to learn to do more on their own. I spoil them too much!
