Julia's Graduation

This was not the picture we were expecting...I guess that's why they take pictures ahead.

Julia opened her gift from Sister Newton (thank you!) and then we watched the ceremony online.

If you've zoomed in, you may have noticed that she won a $500 scholarship from Dabrowski meats! Thank you !
After taking some medication, Julia put on her dress and went to take pictures (you don't buy a dress to wear only once and then not even wear it, right?) She didn't do her hair the way she had planned and she definitely wasn't feeling great but oh well....

...I still took lots of pictures !

It's a good thing we hadn't bought tickets for the supper. They had a slideshow at the supper with pictures like this:

Julia had planned to go to the dance but she wasn't feeling well (she was going to buy her ticket the day before at senior sunset but she missed that too.)

So yesterday, we went to get her diploma the French way; from the secretary. Julia said she didn't want me to ask for the gown and take pictures (even if I wanted to), so we didn't dress fancy and we should have! One secretary insisted on giving us the gown with the V thing and she got the vice principal that was supposed to give Julia her diploma to come out and take pictures...

Have fun in Idaho !

School Is Out

It's over! Here are some pictures of recent school activities, including studying for exams by candlelight, mini-putt, bowling, picnic, BBQ and outdour day for Ryan.

Julia was so sick she missed her graduation.. We'll go get her diploma next week and maybe take pictures then too.

 Last Sunday was Father's Day.

We went to the cemetery.

It was also Auntie Becca's birthday so we all ate together.

Legion T & F Disctrict Meet

Kelden heard about this track meet and decided to register with Zack.

A bus took them to New Liskeard so we didn't get to see them but apparently, it was a good thing Kelden brought Zack as he won three rubans: two first places (80m and 150m) and one second place (300m)

Kelden also got a ruban for third place (out of three :)

It was a fun hot day!

Pool

After three full week-ends, Keld is now a swim instructor and a lifeguard. He has already been hired!

Zack has also completed another level. He has learned how to use his pants to float in the water...

Good job!
