Ross' blessing

Ross was blessed on Sunday, July 23rd.

He invited us to hi house afterwards.

It was lots of fun. Thank you !!

Happy Birthday Will !!

All the cousins came right on time to celebrate Will's birthday.

They all got spoiled. It started with the famous fidget spinners.

Then they decorated T-shirts.

They had fun in the pool.

There was cake and presents of course.

 

It was all very tiring.

But there was more..Piñata!

Thank you Special and Grandpa for such a big birthday party!!

Swimming Lessons

Last week, the kids had swimming lessons. It's only five 30 minute lessons but since they had been practicing all year, and especially in Grandpa and Special's pool, they did quite well.

Kelden passed 3 levels! He is now ready for level 7, with another year of practice!

Zack passed 2 levels. He is now pretty good in the deep end, but does get tired.

Julia is also going into level 7. I think she has the technique, now she needs the endurance.

Bastille Day !

Fireworks were over for Bastille Day, but we still sang our Marseillaise!

The kids celebrated all night with their dad and some cousins in the new tent.

It was a short and cool night...

Summer Is Here

Summer started with Stars and Thunders in Timmins (a week of concerts and fireworks competition) which kept Keld pretty busy (still does) and made him very tired...

It ended on Canada Day.

This summer, Julia is into Rainbow loom again.

She has also started to bake on her own.

The boys are enjoying their time off too.

Their favorite is probably the pool.

Let's see if they're ready for their swimming lessons!

Gillies Lake Fun

We went to the free activities at Gillies Lake this week. It doesn't start till noon, so Keld dropped us off at the dinosaur park where we waited and had our pick-nick.

We walked to the lake, went to the Hydro-One trailer and then got Beaver tails !

We tried the mini-putt. You got a bracelet each time you got hole in one. The kids all have bracelets.

Then, it was bouncing castles...

....and climbing.

We finish with high-tech, and more min-putting.

We walked home and did get some rain, but it could have been worse!
