Grand-Père and Grand-Mère have been in the Congo for over 6 months now! There are still mainly in the mission office and doing apartment checks but they also go to the Institute building regularly (they take English lessons...) and travel to other cities, and other countries (for the Temple.)
It is really hot right now in the Congo, but it always is apparently! They are learning to like church meetings with air conditioning...
We are very proud of their service!
The Stevensons invited the youth from the stake once again this year. Similar activities were proposed: hockey, snowshoeing and ice-fishing. Keld was supposed to lead the snowshoeing and thought he could bring Ryan but they went a different path this time and it was too hard...
This time they didn't have a fire outside but they let people go inside.
In fact, the boys slept at the Stevensons and the girls went to their neighbours' who are members too.
Next activity is next week for stake conference!
Grandpa turned 69 on Family Day. There was an activity at the church and Keld only took a couple of pictures (I was in bed as I haven't been feeling good) so the others are from Auntie Becca.
I guess tug of war was a favorite..We had chinese food for Grandpa's birthday.

Both Julia and Kelden got braces but you can't really tell the difference with Kelden as he only has lower braces for now.
Julia also got her wisdom teeth removed last Wednesday.
For Uncle Dave's birthday, the Grinch himself came to sing!
Kelden made the big cookie himself. Happy Birthday Uncle Dave !!
