Every year the Mattagami Region Conservation Authority has a Fall Hiking Day but this year being different they organized a Fall Hiking Month Contest. On their website, they posted 12 special spots to find. To participate, you had to take your picture in at least 5 of those special spots during the month of October. We didn't hear about this contest until mid-month so we only had time to find 6.
Our pictures looked more like we participated in a Winter Contest, not Fall..
We didn't win anything but it made us go out and discover trails we'd never tried before! It was fun.
