Thanks to our Primary leaders, we were ready for the conference and Easter long week-end.
Ryan used the cards to find the speakers. He also got out our little Children's songbook to accompany the choirs. His favorite, of course, was hearing the magic words. He calls the conference (and the magazine Liahona) "covenant" as we've been choosing that word lately.
In between the Saturday sessions, we were able to go for a bike ride. Ryan is getting used to it again.
We had our Easter meal on Monday. We did like last year and bought a chicken with potatoes. I made stuffing for Kelden and I but no mashed potatoes as I was the only one to eat it last year. Actually, I don't think the kids cared for a big meal at all. The only request we had was from Julia for home-made buns. They all preferred the pizza, the croissants, the cakes and all the waffles (thank you Sister Newton!)
I tried to take pictures on Sunday but, as usual, Ryan wasn't cooperating.
Our neighbor saw us and sent his wife over to take a picture of the whole family. She tried to take a few but I found only one on the phone!
It was a sunny day:) A great day to celebrate the resurrection!
