Zack turned 10 on the 10th! We were going to celebrate on the Friday night so Keld could go to North Bay for some stake business. When the restrictions changed, Keld decided to do stake business here instead. So he had an interview on Friday night and didn't make it on time to have Chinese food. However, since Special had already made the cake, we did start to celebrate.
Friday was pyjama day for Zack at school, which is why he is wearing pjs but on some pictures he is wearing the T-shirt his cousins Bruce and Evan brought for him! Special had given their gifts with the cake so we opened gifts Friday night too.
Special and Grandpa also got him a bow.
On Saturday, Uncle Hunter and Lori, who are missionaries waiting to go to the Philippines (and to whom Zack writes every Sunday) sung for him in tagalog!
We had kept one last little gift: a compass, to continue his likeness to Jack Sparrow.
Zack can draw him too. He's been practicing on the sketch book the Primary leaders gave him for his birthday.
We continued to celebrate all day with waffles and Chinese food.
