Walking the Dogs

We've been going to Hersey Lake for walks and the kids like it.

This past week-end we thought we'd bring the dogs. The kids liked it even more.

People would look at us thinking we were crazy, telling us we must be a very busy family...well, we are (crazy and busy), which is probably why we don't own the dogs! Since there are (only) two dogs and we have three kids,  the one left kid got to take the pictures.

Julia actually loves to pose...

Kelden not so much...

He even ruins the pictures...

Oh well, I keep trying...

I like pictures au naturel anyway!

Ward Car Rally

There is no ward activities committee any more. In Timmins, we've replaced it with Sr Vaughan.

I really enjoy the activities she prepares, last one being a car rally. All teams drove around town and took pictures to prove that we had completed the tasks required. We took Sr Newton with us, a good choice as we came third and won a prize! Here are some of the pictures, I think you can guess the task for most of them.

Thanks for all your hard work Sr Vaughan! (And teams!).

Labor Day Week-End

We were at the cottage for the long week-end with the good,

the bad,

and the ugly:

It was probably our last time at the cottage for this year. Last chance to enjoy the machines.

Although Keld will, of course, be using his machine this winter.
Last time means time to clean up. Julia chose the easy part:

Kelden got the hard part, but he was quite proud.

The water was cold, but some actually enjoyed it...

See you next year cottage!
