An Hour at the Museum

 We don't go out any more. Keld does the groceries, I go to the library and we all attend church but that's about it. However, when we learnt that there was an exhibition about secret intelligence at the museum, I thought the kids might like it (especially Kelden). 

We first looked around the permanent exhibition as it was different than our last time. It's about Timmins mostly.

Then we went to learn about secret messages. The kids enjoyed the games and learning how things have changed since World War II. There was actually an Enigma machine from a German submarine.   

It definitely was another time!

Spring

 Spring is officially here.

It's wet, stinky and still cold (at least for me!)

But it is warmer so I have decided to get Ryan out to walk with me, especially to meet Zack at the end of the school day.

I had given up in the winter because he would complain about the snow on his face but stop every second to touch it...

He still stops every second to touch just about anything or to stare at everyone or, of course, to sit down!

He walks so slow we never make it to the school but at least I'm not freezing while waiting for him and we do make it farther than when I have to wait for Kelden or Julia to go on my own. Zack appreciates it anyway.

Sometimes, Julia joins us.

She helps Ryan walk a bit faster, when he isn't too busy getting wet...

And we meet Kelden home.

Theme Days

 Last week, the children were supposed to be on vacation but instead, since they were postponed, the schools decided to have fun by choosing a special theme for every day. Julia had an overall theme : "Going on vacation" and every day she had a different destination. She was given a passport and her participation enabled her to be part of a draw.

Keld's work was inspired by Julia's school and so he also had a passport and almost the same destinations but Julia started early with tropical resort.

Keld had tropical resort on Monday, Julia was a tourist and Zack had school colors (Kelden had band T-shirt but we don't have any). 

Tuesday was Disney for Julia and Keld (Julia drew on their masks), Zack had western country and Kelden crazy hair and socks.

Wednesday was the only day everyone had the same: green for Ireland.

Thursday was snow resort for Keld and Julia, original hat for Zack and Disney for Kelden.

Friday was twin day for Kelden so he joined Zack for whom it was Hawaii day and Ryan made it a triplet day. It was comfort day for Keld and Julia. 

That day Zack became Prince (two of each class were chosen for the Francophonie  Day). 

And it's now time to come back home.
