Zack's Primary Goals

To help him with his spiritual, social, physical and intellectual goals, his Primary leaders have given Zack a monthly journal. His January goal was to read a book in English (he has technically only started English at school this year). Not that his English vocabulary has improved much with his choice...

For February he wanted to learn how to make pasta sauce. We bought meatballs just for the occasion! I was taking pictures of the whole process until he cut himself with the cans...

Zack is also learning the Primary songs with Ryan and sometimes with Sister Kelsey as the Primary in Sudbury post their videos on the Stake Primary Facebook page. Lesson and music time alternate every week and Sister Kelsey had posted a video about the song we were learning in February. She said to use paper toilet trumpets if we didn't have kazoos. If you remember, we had also found actions to go with the song. Ryan seemed to really enjoy it all. However, yesterday, he didn't want to sing for the video. Zack tried everything to help him: actions, trumpet and nothing. In the best video we've got, Zack wasn't doing the actions but you can tell that this time Ryan was looking at him thinking he would and doing the ones he remembered...

Yesterday, Sister Kelsey posted a video of another song but it's not the one our Primary is learning in March. We still took up the challenge!

Next challenge for Zack: learning some Articles of Faith!
