Summer Vacation: Week 5 (At the Cottage)

Keld took this week off and we went to the cottage. The weather wasn't so good but the kids still had fun.

Auntie Becca was patient enough to take some family pictures for us. (Kelden's favorite part).

Summer Vacation: Week 4 (Swimming Lessons+ 9 months)

This week was swimming lessons!

We prefer private lessons, but since Julia and Kelden are at the same level, we put them together.

They had 5 half-hour lessons, well, Julia had four as she was sick on Thursday.

She still fulfilled all the requirements for level 7, like Kelden. Zack missed one requirement for level 4; the 10 meters front crawl. Apparently, his crawl isn't good yet:

Oh well, he'll keep practising at Grandpa's pool. They actually had a Primary party there this week.

This week, the kids met Uncle Rick's challenge to draw loons.

We are also still working on our reading marathon. Only 498 kilometers left!

This week, Ryan turned 9 months...

...and Rocky is 5 months today. He had a little misunderstanding with the neighbour's dog.

And this week-end, we made strawberry jam and nacked pies!

Summer Vacation: Week 3 (We are the CHAMPIONS)

This week we played with our friends and family. Julia went to a friend one day, had a friend over another day and we all played with the cousins. We taught them to cheer for France!! We won the semi-finals on Tuesday and so on Friday for my nephew's first birthday, we celebrated with soccer in mind. Saturday was our National Day and today, we won the World Cup!

Also this week, I tried to take pictures of the kids to see what colors would work best for when we see the professionals :)

We are now more than half-way to Italy.  I am proud. It has definitely make me read more!

And we went to the cottage this week-end. Keld put up the tent but I don't have a picture. I do have a picture of the wonderful meal. Thank you (and not just Grandpa Bruce :)

Let's see what this week will bring!
