Swimming Party

We had a ward swimming party on Saturday. We brought our little mermaid.

The others had fun too.

Kelden tried the wall for the first time and I think he liked it!

This and That

We went to check if Cadie's dogs were as obedient as the dogs we're watching  here. Not sure about the dogs, but the kids are more contained there.

Maybe we should get the cages back :)
On Saturday we had a Relief Society activity. I made a few of these:

Fun in the Snow

We are petsitting and there's lots of snow here.

We even had a snowday. Snowday means you don't have to go to school but can stay in bed. However, the kids were up before 6.30 having breakfast and playing piano...

The other Monday we went sliding for the Family Home Evening activity. I had a hard time taking pictures because it was night and they were going too fast.

Julia helped me make a neck warmer to protect me from the cold.

And they went skiing again. This time, the Skyway was open.

They are doing good. Zack is not scared, Kelden still has a hard time with the chairlift and Julia is leading them!

Happy Birthday Evan

Evan has his birthday close to the Day of Kings (the Wise Men celebrated on January 6th) so we did both at the same time. We made our crown of brioches and put candles on it.

This year we had Star Wars fèves. They each got the one they wanted and Julia was the first Queen with Princess Leia.

Ski

To become a big kid, like his siblings, Zack had to: 1. go to school. 2. take piano lessons and 3. learn to ski. I guess he's a big kid now!

Unfortunately, the best trails for beginners are not open. Julia and Kelden had to try the T-bars to go on top. They didn't like it.

The next day, the T-bars were broken. They had to go quite far for the chairlift.

We only went three times. Hopefully, the other trails open soon. So the other days we went swimming.

The fun is over now, back to school on Monday!

2016 Last Pictures

This last week of the year was the first week of the Christmas break. The kids had a lot of fun and Kelden thanked his grandma for making the holidays special. I'm thanking her too!

We went skating a couple of times on the longest figure 8 in Canada.

We'll try to go again this week and hopefully skiing too !!
