Zack and Bruce

OK, I'm a little bit late on that one, but here are pictures of Zack and his cousin Bruce, taken a week after Zack's birth.

Linda and Kelden were less than 2 months apart, Bruce and Zack are less than 2 weeks apart...will we be in the hospital together next time Ashley? :)

Tanti Auguri Tatie Geraldine

Today is my sister Geraldine's birthday. I still remember her as the baby of the family, even though she was the baby for only five years. I have to look at our first picture together and compare it to the last one to realize that almost 30 years have passed by... Almost 30 years, she's still young ;)

Happy Easter !

For Easter this year, egg hunts were a big hit. Keld, with Zack's moral support, had drawn clues that he put into eggs along with candy.

Julia would look for the clues while Kelden would eat the candy.

Grand-Père and Grand-Mère had brought the chocolate, so we bought gifts for the kids. Kelden got a WoodyBuzz helmet and Julia a clock and a bell for her bike.

After church, there was another Easter hunt at Special and Gradpa Bruce's with Cousin Linda.

I think it was too much for Kelden...

A Taste of Spring

Yesterday was a really nice day and the kids got to play outside on Grandpa Bruce and Special's playground. They were so excited!

It's a good thing they enjoyed it as much as they could because today it's back to white, if you know what I mean...

Let's compare

Keld told me today that Zack doesn't look like the others. Could he have something from my side of the family? Julia and Kelden really looked alike from the beginning.

Happy Birthday Tata Carole!

Today is my sister's birthday, which, as you know, means cake!!! Her cake is traditionnally decorated with strawberries, because we used to buy our first strawberries of the year for her birthday. I might have a picture of a cake with strawberries later, but for now, let me show you that times passes without my sister changing a bit :

By the way, my parents don't seem to change either...

...they still love babies :)

Big Sister

I think that seeing Baby Bruce helped Julia realize what was coming. She seems to like being a big sister again and wants to hold Zack pretty often (she thinks it's so funny when he tries to eat from her).

 

More visitors!

We didn't stay too long at the hospital, but we did have some visitors, cute ones...

In the labor room

No, I'm not going to show you pictures of the labor, but pictures of the very first people who got to hold Zack while I was still in the labor/recovery room. The first three people had been in that room almost all day!

And don't say I look good after delivering, I know I don't; this is the look of my kids when they saw me like that:

Grandpa Bruce brought them and my parents as soon as they knew Zack had arrived.
