This year, Zack decided to come back to the festival and played two songs. He kept his streak and was first both time. (There was no one against him :)
Kelden on the other hand, had a few competitors (all girls). He didn't do as well as last year and it is largely due to the fact that he didn't have (or take) enough time to learn his pieces by heart. He only kept his book once so for the judge it looked like: "You don't have the right notes!" whereas his teacher was: "You are so creative!" Indeed, if you didn't know the song, you didn't know he'd had a total lapse of memory, compared to the other people who completely stopped and whom the judge congratulated because they continued afterward. I could tell when he was wrong, not because of the notes but because of his face :)
