A Name and a Blessing

 Kelden was blessed on November 23rd.

Kelden Darin

 Kelden was my most painful delivery but also the easiest recovery. 

Kelden's Birth

Kelden was born on November 6th, at 3.35am. The day before, I had contractions but as I am always in pain, no one paid any attention. After putting Julia to bed, I couldn't walk. Knowing that they don't give the epidural at night, I thought I could wait until morning. However, around 1am, I knew that if I wanted that baby to be born in the hospital, I'd better get there fast. The doctor barely made it on time. Kelden weighed 8 pounds 13 ounces and measured 20 inches.

Julia and I celebrated our birthdays right before Kelden arrived.

  This is the year we started carving pumpkins.
