A Week at the Cottage - Special Activities

 Special had prepared a few activities for the grandchildren. On Sunday, it was coloring. 

She filled the back at the end of the week. 

I colored for Ryan. But he liked the bubbles.

Julia, as the award highlights, loved rock painting.

 

She also enjoyed painting faces !

On a sunny day, the kids had a water balloon fight. 

Grandpa was in charge of jube jube o'clock (candy time) which once became s' mores o' clock.

And we did almost every activity with the prophet as the Primary President had given us a special scavenger hunt!

 We had a few days of great weather and the kids enjoyed it.

A Week at the Cottage - Building a Raft

 We spent a few days at the cottage. Kelden had lots of adventures and project ideas. One of them was to build a raft that would bring him to the water trampoline. 

Mission accomplished !

School at Home

The Premier announced today that the children were going to go back to school with little change except for the mask (for all children Zack's age and older). I was a bit disappointed as I wouldn't have minded a good excuse to keep the kids home a couple months longer. They seem to like school at home. Julia just finished her summer class on Tuesday and Wednesday, we were all at school again :)

We started with math.

Then art.

It took us some time to get these chefs d'oeuvre finished, so we had lunch after. Then back to school for an hour of physical education. The teacher had set up a few different stations.

We were too tired for the English class (we'll start our new book later :)
