While Keld studied at Carleton University, I finished my mémoire for my degree and then taught French to federal government employees.
At church we both started serving in Primary and then Keld was in Young Men while I was in the nursery. Some of the couples serving with me became our dear friends.
Our family away from home were the Schulzkes. I went trick or treating for the first time with them. They are still great friends whom we have visited over the years (as you might have noticed.)
It was the biggest ward we've ever lived in!

Some of those people have come to live in our stake and others have rejoined their Father in heaven...
My sister Carole came to visit and thanks to her I have a picture of the lake. I liked skating there!
And this is the car we used to drive. I took my driving lessons in Ottawa and my first driving test as well. Can you imagine that?
I don't think I have any more pictures of our Ottawa years.
