En avril, ne te découvre pas d'un fil

In French, the saying for April basically says : don't take off your coat. In Timmins, it means: don't put your winter stuff away too quickly.

The squinting eyes might fool you,

but the playground is still covered in snow.

The blue sky might tempt you,

but the track is still a pool.

 Like the bottom of slides.

The kids want to go play and ride their bikes.

But the snow isn't ready to lose her turn.

And maybe we should hibernate a bit longer.
