Temple and Coordinating Council

Keld's coordinating councils are usually held in Brampton. It's far enough that Keld has only attended one in person but with the pandemic, everyone's had to attend online anyway for the past couple of years.

The restrictions being lifted, "they" have decided to start meeting in person again. Knowing Keld's difficulty with the distance, "they" asked him when would be best for him. He said Saturday afternoon at 3. This way, he could drive there the Saturday and back the Sunday (he could too if the meeting is Sunday morning but then it's kind of early for the president who is 4 hours away and Keld can't double the trip as a visit to another branch/ward on his way home.)

However, "they"decided to invite the presidents'wives to the meeting and I wasn't going to go all the way to the temple and not go to the temple! In order to get any type of session done before the meeting (which ended up being at 4 on the Saturday) we had to leave on the Friday. So we left Friday and, after a few chosen stops, we made it to the temple!

Our sealing session was scheduled for 12 and we were on time (as you are asked to be there half an hour before the start of the session) so they allowed us to join the 11.30 session. After an hour and a half, I only had two names left but the sealer said they don't do overtime. I guess I'll have to come back.

We had lunch and then went to our meetings. President and Sister Ensign were the hosts for the first and last time and they cooked for everybody!

We had to travel a lot for a four hour meeting but who had 7 children and 3 dogs for a couple of days so we that we could do it?

Thanks Uncle James and Aunt Ashley!
On our way back, we attended the Manitoulin's branch conference. We saw a few moose (some of them were trying to cross the road before their assigned bridge!)
