2nd Annual Dame Tartine Competition

If you're an avid follower of my blog, you will know that we like to celebrate Saint Nicholas Day (which is December 6th) as it used to be a tradition from my mom's side. My aunt Catherine would send us lots of ginger bread that could not be found where we lived. I don't miss that too much as I'm not a fan of ginger bread (except the famous Youplaboum) so now we celebrate by making a culinary creation inspired by a house we also used to make once in a while growing up . Last year, my sisters joined me and we made it a competition. The theme was the house and you can see the results here, on the blog in French (for some reason I didn't do it in the Englis version.) This year, the theme was the train.

I took all the help I could get.

Now, that you've seen ours, here are the others. Stéphanie:

Géraldine:

Carole:

I think we win for size and Géraldine for sound effects...My personal favorite is Carole's. I miss the liquorice she put for the wheels...can't find that here either...
