Merry Christmas !

The kids got up around 7.

Julia, unsurprisingly, got some art kits (rock painting and calligraphy). Kelden, who had nothing on his list, received a Chrome Book. Zack got what he asked for: a snake, a sniper Nerf gun and Nutella. Ryan continues his collection of Avengers with Iron Man and Black Panther. He also got some costumes for Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America. The sled is mostly for him but it will help us go on adventures as a family (especially since I also got snowshoes!). Mom, don't watch the next video.

Since the stores are closed on Christmas, we couldn't just go and buy a roasted chicken so Keld said he would be in charge of the turkey. I did tell him to check if he needed to thaw it ahead...Well, we kept another French tradition and ate late :) For my part, I overcooked the dressing because I was in a zoom meeting (talking to my family). We were going to make yule logs for dessert but we didn't need to as we already had some be Special!

Overall, we did ok :) Here are some pictures of more gifts: a Tim Horton's gift card that Julia won at school and a door mat from one of Keld's colleague.

We hope everyone had a good Christmas. It was my 20th Christmas in Canada, without any siblings or parents. I don't think I know anyone who can relate to that!
