Happy Birthday Canada !

There was a pancake breakfast at the church to celebrate Canada Day yesterday. It didn't start until 9 so we had to find something to occupy hungry kids for a couple of hours...We put Star Wars for Kelden. It's his new thing. He likes to watch the movies, of course, but he also gets Grandpa Bruce to print him pictures of the characters that he brings everywhere and uses for his songs:

Finally, it was time to go!

 

As soon as we got back home, Keld switched T-shirts to cheer for Switzerland and prepared strawberry pies while anxiously waiting for the game to start. The game went into extended time but we had other plans for the day. (I knew my sisters would update us on the score anyway). We went swimming. We've been swimming quite a bit lately.

 

 

 

 

To finish, I wish I had a picture of the piece of pie Keld took for dessert. It wasn't the fanciest red dessert we've had for Canada Day, but he sure liked it!
