The Helenbar Trail

Behind the campground is the Helenbar Lake. There is a trail that brings you to a look-out (where you can admire that lake) and then back to the Semiwite lake via a portage trail between the two lakes. It is 7 kms long, but then to go back to the camp, walking along the Semiwite lake, is another 2 kms.

And off we go! We saw quite a few pudding stones on our way. It was really nice.

We also admired a great big old stone.

The problem with stones is that the big boys climb fast but then Ryan tries and falls...

A pause before a first look-out.

We made it to the best look-out!

Then down back to the lake.

We deserved an ice-cream after that!
