Besides spending a week with Uncle Jordan and Aunt Emmy, Julia really, really, REALLY enjoyed the Band-Aids. Yep, it doesn't take much to please Julia and Grandma Special's Princesses, Dora and Woody Buzz Band-Aids were worth the extra money. Julia would have covered herself with Band-Aids right away but the rule was that to deserve a Band-Aid, a bobo needed to bleed. It didn't scare Julia at all. Once she offered me a Band-Aid but I refused because I didn't have any blood showing anywhere. She quickly showed me how you can make yourself bleed by pinching your skin with your fingers...

I have never seen a girl so happy at the sight of blood!
