Disneyworld IV Magic Kingdom

I think that Magic Kingdom was the kids 'favorite park. No surprise there. I like it too, but it would be much better if it was reserved to my friends and family only (that would be a dream come true!) The lines-up are too long, especially for someone who has a Kelden. Riding Dumbo, for example, requires a wait of a minimum of 30 minutes. Kelden screams, moves, annoys you for 25 minutes and then, when you're almost there, happy the end is near, he looks at you and says: "I need to go potty."  Needless to say, we only went to Dumbo once.

Keld said it was worth the wait though, as flying Dumbo gave you a good view of the construction going on next to the ride. They are building more castles for the other princesses (makes sense, they were all so jealous of Cinderella's). Anyway, since Dumbo was too busy, we went to another ride that's almost the same; the magic carpets. Zack really enjoyed it.

A ride that didn't have that long of a line-up was Small World.

Kelden was asleep the first time we did Small World

The second time he was wide awake and really enjoyed it

He had no time for pictures

And then, they went again with Special and Grandpa Bruce

A ride that actually was nice to wait for was Winnie the Pooh. It has little games you can play with as you get ready for the ride.

See Julia's face on that last picture? Yes, she was scared of the Winnie the Pooh ride. We had to force her to do it a second time. She's that bad. A ride she liked, and that had no line-up, was the tea-cups.

If we look so surprised on that last picture, it's because we saw Alice in one of the other cups! We got to take a picture with her after, with no line-up! Because usually, to meet a Disney character, you have to wait forever. For instance, Keld and Kelden went on WoodyBuzz four times while we waited for Rapunzel.

Magic Kingdom is also the park where we saw the parade and the fireworks. The kids really enjoyed that.

We had a great family time!
