Disneyworld VI Animal Kingdom

Maybe one day for our anniversary (obviously not today) we'll stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge because we really like it over there. Yep, I like Animal Kingdom too. I find that it has everything the other parks have (rides, shows, Disney characters) + it's like a zoo with nice places to walk. On top of it all, it's less busy than Magic Kingdom for example. After saying hi to the welcoming committee,

you can do the dinosaur ride as many times as you want, until you get dizzy.

Once you're friends with the dinos, you're ready for the safari.

I'm not sure what Special thought was so scary there, but Zack doesn't look worried at all. We did see some pretty scary creatures that day though.

We also took a little train to get to a very interesting island.

There were fake animals and "true" ones. Julia and Kelden loved to pet them and brush them.

Kelden wasn't impressed that this one pooped on him.
We stayed on this island more than we had expected because we decided to wait for Pocahontas. Kelden, as usual, had a hard time waiting, but then he was quite happy to meet one of his favorite Disney characters.

We always say goodbye to the parrots on our way back to the hotel.

And, to end this post, here are some family pictures with the "Tree of Life."
